Mobile phone media

The quality of mobile phone media is improving all the time and my latest phone upgrade comes with video and stills options that are pretty amazing – the camera even has a flash!  How long will it be before we get HD video on a mobile – is it already out there?

We can all see a real use and convenience of having mobile phone stills photography available in your pocket but in terms of video, it is still a developing concept.  For social blogging and general fun, it is great, but does it have any professional application?  Video blogging seems to be the closest possibility at the moment, but hopefully we’ll see some other uses as the technology develops.
